Does TOASTY CHEESE cater weddings?

Of course we do. We’re married to making weddings a special day.

What other events does TOASTY CHEESE especially like to cater?

There aren’t many events where we don’t love to share our tasty TOASTY CHEESE. That’s because our unique menu of creative, quality foods works for virtually every occasion! Birthdays, parties, church gatherings, tastings, meetings or any special event!

What is the travel fee for? And how is it determined?

The travel fee makes it possible for us to provide labor & utilities service to your area. If the event is within ten (10) miles of our Schaumburg location, the travel fee is waived and anything beyond that we charge $1.00 per mile round trip.

Do I need to provide a permit for TOASTY CHEESE to cater my event?

It depends on which municipality you are located in. Some municipalities may require a permit, unless we will be parking on private property, in which case permits may not be required. Please check with your city for its requirements.

I have filled out the Catering Request Form. Does this mean I have booked the event?

No, it is just a Request. In order to secure your event, you will need to sign the TOASTY CHEESE™ Contract and pay the 50% deposit.

The price quotes have gone up since the last time we talked. Can you honor the old prices?

Unfortunately, unless a contract with the old prices is signed by both TOASTY CHEESE and the client, we must adhere to current prices.

Do we need to provide our own trash cans, plates, utensils and napkins? 

NO! We will provide all of that for you. If you have a request for specific serving wares, please request those when you place the order. Additional charge may apply.

How far in advance should I book a TOASTY CHEESE event?

Drop-off catered events must be booked by Friday, 12 noon, a week prior to the event. If you are booking the truck, please call ASAP, as we book up further in advance!

How do I go about booking an event?

To book/secure a date, we would need both a signed/initialed Contract & a Deposit. Please email a completed Catering Request form so we can draw up a contract for you.

When is payment due?

The total, in full, is due via Credit Card two business days (no later than 48 hours) prior to your event or by Cash 24 hours before the event. Checks will only be accepted 10 DAYS PRIOR (to allow for clearance).

Is the deposit refundable?

TOASTY CHEESE™ requires a 50% deposit to secure any event. If your event is cancelled:

  • If canceled 30 or more days prior to the event date, the full deposit will be refunded.
  • If canceled 15-29 days prior to event, 75% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • If canceled 4-14 days prior to event, the full deposit will be retained by TOASTY CHEESE™.
  • If canceled 3 days or less prior to the event, the full amount of the event will be retained / owed to TOASTY CHEESE™.

What form of payments do you accept?

TOASTY CHEESE accepts cash, credit cards, personal and cashier checks―Payable to: Toasty Cheese, Inc.
