Our goal is to provide underserved communities on the south side of Chicago with unique fun events and putting together a food festival to provide the community with a diverse food experience. | Individual People Pay Themselves | Softball tournament in AH this weekend. We start Friday evening but are looking for Saturday and Sunday. Games start at 9 am and run through 3:30 pm, and may be affected by weather. We have 24 teams in total participating so figure 25 people per team at 12 players, 12 parents and a coach, for easy math. We are utilizing Rand, Methodist Centennial and McDonald field complexes at the same time. Some will buy some won’t. I know my kids will want a food truck vs what I pack in a cooler for the day. Only sorta competition is Kona Ice. They don’t serve food just frozen beverages and they usually rotate between the fields then park at Methodist. |
