| Individual People Pay Themselves | Hi! My name is Lauren and I am reaching out from Paws and Claws Chicago Rescue, a 501(c)3 foster-based rescue founded in May of 2020. We focus on cats who are at risk of euthanasia in local municipal shelters as well as those in areas with fewer resources and higher euthanasia rates. Our goal is to provide every animal in our care with behavioral, emotional and medical care and to eventually match them with a family. We are a small, close-knit organization that believes in community, support and inclusion, responsibility, and kindness. We are very excited to finally open our Adoption Center in the next month or so and to host a grand opening event for our fosters, donors, community members, etc. We would love to learn more about what you offer and see if we're a good fit to work together. | Individual People Pay Themselves | Hi! I was reaching out because we host a Annual Ice Cream Social here at the Library. It is hosted by the library and Village. We have games, rides, slide, ice cream, dj, popcorn, fire truck, etc. We have been hosting this event for 20+ years. The last time we hosted this event was 2019 and we had one food truck there. In years past, we usually have roughly 1,000-2,000 people. We are looking for a few trucks to come to the event. It is Thursday, August 4th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. We are not looking to take any money that you make. It is completely free to you to be here and you keep everything you make but we can not pay for you to come. We are a non-profit organization so we have very limited funds. Please let me know if you are interested or not! I am still working out the details but wanted to reach out early before the summer events fill up!
