On June 11, we are hosting our 11th annual Move for Kids, presented by Hub Group, taking place on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Move for Kids (MFK) includes a 3-mile walk, the Grant Thornton Kids Dash, and a post party with food, drinks, entertainment and activities for all participants. Revenue goes to Access for Every Child, supporting patient families facing financial challenges and delivering care in underserved neighborhoods so every child can have a healthier future.
MFK is our only completely free event, with the intention of being fully accessible to patients, families, and communities. The success of this day truly relies on donations and the work of generous volunteers.
The race will take place at Busse Woods Forest Preserve. The site will open at 9:30am, with the walk stepping off at 11:15am. We predict around 500 participants. Would your food truck be interested in coming to our event? Guests will purchase their own food, because we are a nonprofit however we are hoping there will be no minimum purchase number, or if there is it can be small.
If you are interested, we can discuss logistics, like numbers and the drop-off locations. Our participants, staff, and volunteers would greatly appreciate the support!

We were wondering if Toasty Cheese would be interested in doing a trade with our company. Toasty Cheese would provide 50-60 lunches (still waiting on a confirmed number) from your food truck at our location in exchange for media exposure from our company - the media exposure you will receive will be worth the value we consume at the event.
So for example, if 50-60 lunches from Toasty Cheese was worth $1,000, we would then give you $1,000 dollars worth of media which can consist of on-air mentions on any of our stations (B96, US*99, 670 The Score, 93XRT, 104.3 JAMS, WBBM Newsradio), a live food review with our talent, or even web page shoutouts. The mentions can definitely go a long way.
Please let me know if this is something Toasty Cheese would be interested in doing. I am open to hopping on a call as well!
