| Individual People Pay Themselves | Hello, I’m reaching out about being doubled charged for an order last Friday. My initial charge was for $28.09 (food plus tip), but when I went to get my food after a couple of minutes the worker said there was an issue with my initial payment so he charged me for $23.41 (just the food I’m guessing). Both charges seem to have been processed though, so I’d like a refund for the $23.41 if possible. I can also request it through my credit card company but they recommend reaching out to the vendor first. |

We've done events with individual trucks in the past, but thought this time we would coordinate 5-8 trucks for a bigger event. I’m a Student Life Coordinator at Elgin Community College and we’re in the process of planning our fall events. We would love to invite you back on campus again this year on Wednesday, August 30th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We’ve had a great success having Toasty Cheese join us for this event in the past so we're excited to extend the invitation again. This event is always a great way for us to support our local food trucks in our community at no cost to you at all. There is no charge for you to be on our campus and you keep all the proceeds from your sales that day. The only thing we ask from you is to provide ONE item on your menu for a specific STUDENT SPECIAL priced $5-$8 (the rest can be your regular priced menu). We will be doing all of the publicity and we will be promoting this event through emails to all employees and students (including featured emails highlighting your food truck and your menu deal), social media campaign (both Student Life and Elgin Community College pages), press release, and posters around campus and our community.
