Individual People Pay Themselves

Hello,
We are hosting a family reunion at our house and would like to hire a food truck. We have never done this before. Some questions that I have: 2. What is the overall cost to just come to the house or is that included in the price of the food. 2. If people pay for themselves, do you allow credit cards? 3. Do you have gluten free options? 4. Do you have kids meal prices vs adult prices? 4. How long do you stay for?
Look forward to hearing from you and then we can set up a phone call. I was not able to answer the guest count correctly as it would not take two amounts. We will have 78 adults and 17 kids.
Thanks,
Laura Snyder

Hello,

My name is Joanna Huyck and I am a Program Coordinator with the Cook County Forest Preserves. I am planning a community cleanup & recycling event at Miller Meadow forest preserve in Maywood on Saturday, April 1 from 10am to 2pm. I was hoping that you would consider being a part of the event, for all or a portion of the time. In addition to event attendees, our location is across the street from Loyola Hospital and medical campus, and we would certainly promote your attendance there. Thanks for the consideration. I would happy to hop on the phone to discuss as well.

Kind regards,
Joanna

Hello,

My company is looking to host an employee event at our facility on Friday, August 18, 2023. There would be about 40 people and we'd host/pay for the full event. It will start at noon and we'd like to have the food truck on-site for about two hours.

I'd like to understand your availability for that day, packages and pricing.

Please also let me know what questions you have for me. Thanks so much!

Hello,

I work for Neu Family Dental in East Dundee. We do an annual one day fest to raise money for our Local Fire Department (we call it Fireman's Fest). It is held at a small park in East Dundee The event has typically been raffles, bingo, beer sales and we get local food vendors to provide food for the event. All proceeds go to the Fire Department.

I was hoping to create more value to it by having a kind of "Food Truck Fest for the Fire Department". Our draw has been free food, bingo, games, beer and raffles (while supplies last). I am inquiring about how much it will cost to get your food truck at the event. (also, the date is not set in stone yet but I am trying to get interest and pricing)

Thank you,
Bryan Neu

Hello,
We are a manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village, and we like to host events for our employees to show our appreciation for their hard work. We have some very specific needs for these events, and I wanted to reach out and see if your company can meet these needs as an option for my list of companies to present to my team as we look to make our decision on who we can host as our next food truck event.

1st and foremost we have two shifts. Our 1st shift would need to be served between 10:45am and 12:45pm it is approximately 80 people give or take with employee fluctuation. Employees would come in staggered groups and not all at once.

2nd shift serve time is 9:30pm-10:30pm about 40 people give or take with employee fluctuation. This group may likely come all at one time.

We understand that this can be a hard event to fulfill but If both shifts can’t be done then it won’t work for us. I just don’t want you to waste your time having you answer all of my other questions below unless you know can accommodate both shifts. 😊

Since we work in a manufacturing environment, and we only have 30-minute lunch breaks service must be fast. We can’t have our employees waiting in line for long periods of time waiting for their food. Due to this we would work require at the minimum 2 servers on your truck. All items must be served and no common touching of items, (example no napkin dispensers or utensil bins where people help themselves).

A few last questions:

What menu can we choose from?

Do you require a deposit, if so when is that due to you?

Will you require any minimums, and would they apply to both shifts?

Do you need any special equipment, (electrical outlets, water ect.)?

How is payment remitted and can gratuity be added at the end by us?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond to our inquiry.

Looking to book for a week day in July (please note I had to place a random date in the top portion here to continue.

Hello,
The River Forest Park District, the Village of River Forest, and the Rotary Club of Oak Park and River Forest are hosting our annual Food Truck Rally on Saturday, August 27th, 4:00-9:00pm at The Depot parking lot/Keystone Park in River Forest.
The event includes up to 10 food trucks (6/7 savory, 3 sweet), a beer tent featuring 5 local craft breweries (Kinslahger, Exit Strategy, Flapjack, One Lake, and Oak Park), wine from Cooper's Hawk, stage entertainment the entire event time, and a family midway featuring inflatables and entertainment. Outdoor tables and seating is included for eating/drinking at the event. We make every effort to make sure food trucks do not compete with each other. In 2019, the event drew over 3,000 participants .
The Village grants any food truck participating in the event a free one day license to serve food at the event provided their trucks pass a Village and Health Department inspection conducted one hour prior to the event.
The cost to participate in the event is $150.00+a $25.00 gift card for a Rotary fundraising raffle.
We are in the process of determining our lineup and would like one grilled cheese truck, so we are reaching out to a couple of trucks.. Please let me know if you have an interest in the event.
