Good morning,

My name is Sydney, I’m the Event Coordinator for the Copernicus Foundation’s annual Taste of Polonia Festival located in Jefferson Park. Taste of Polonia is the largest and oldest Polish festival in the US, serving over 50,000 patrons from across the Chicagoland area every Labor Day Weekend since 1980. Our dates for Taste of Polonia 2024 are as follows: Friday, August 30th – Monday, September 2nd.
I’m reaching out today to inquire whether the Toasty Cheese Food Truck would be interested in joining us as a food vendor at this year’s fest? We don’t have any food vendors offering grilled cheeses or American sandwiches so we think you guys would be a great fit!

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you’d be interested and I’d be happy to send over a copy of our application.

Thank you,

Sydney Bloesch

Good Morning,

My name is Maddy and I am the Events Coordinator at Bottles & Cans here in Chicago. We are hosting our Whiskey Fest at Artifact Events in Ravenswood and we were hoping to have a BBQ food truck at the event. Our last caterer fell through, but we saw you online and are very interested in having the Toasty Cheese/BBQ Bad Boy truck there!

The event is on Sunday, June 26th and we would have the truck ready to serve from 12pm- 4pm. We are expecting over 200 attendees and you would be the only savory food vendor. Also there would be no charge for your truck to park and you would keep 100% of sales.

Let me know if this is something you are interested in!

Thank you,

Maddy Fick

Good Morning Toasty Cheese,
Hope you are well. Big fan. So, working with my parish (St. Vincent de Paul), Knights of Columbus, Vincentian Women, and O.U.R. Rescue, we have submitted for a permit to host a Food Truck Fest on Sunday, Aug. 21st from 11-2pm. I'm told by the Permit office that since our event is further out, they are addressing other permits, yet they assured me that ours will be approved . They then offered the approved list of Food Trucks with the 180 day approved Event certificate. The goal is to have 5-10 trucks of various genre's in the parking lot between Webster/Fullerton off of Sheffield, so in the heart of Lincoln Park. We'll be promoting and marketing to the 5 parishes nearby (St. Vincent, St. Michaels, St. Aloysius, DePaul Students, and the general public.) This is to bring awareness to O.U.R. Rescue (Human Trafficking/Aftercare organization) as well as offering delicious, food for our local residents and parishioners. Let me know if this would work for your business model and interest. Thanks in advance.

Good evening!

My name is Sarayu Maddala, and I’m a junior at Metea Valley High School. Over the past year, my partners and I have developed a business model aimed at reducing food waste by offering leftover food from restaurants at discounted prices at the end of the day. When presenting the idea at the state competition for entrepreneurship, we won first place in the state and qualified for nationals to earn a special award for our innovative approach.

We are now looking to adapt our original business model into a nonprofit organization. We plan to collaborate with supermarkets & restaurants to collect food nearing its expiration date and redirect it to homeless shelters for distribution. On a weekly schedule, representatives from shelters would stop by your establishment and pick up any unsold food or food nearing expiration. We already have several homeless shelters that are eager to get started and we'd love your help in making that happen. We believe this partnership could benefit the community and would appreciate your help in optimizing our plan.

We would love the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Please let us know a convenient time for a call, or feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day,
Sarayu Maddala

Good evening and happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. My name is Josh Seago and your food truck may have participated at one of our past beer festivals - Naperville Ale Fest or Craft Brews at Lincoln Park Zoo.

My daughter is part of the Naperville Diamonds Softball organization and they are hosting the 17th Annual Queen of Diamonds Tournament on June 21 - 23 at Frontier Park in Naperville, IL.

The tournament is a family friendly event that attracts over 500 players and spectators each day. There is a very quick turn around between games with little time to leave the sports complex. We are looking to have a few food trucks on sight during the tournament. There is no fee to participate, but as the Naperville Diamonds are a non-profit organization, we kindly encourage donations based on your sales success. The registration link is below. Please let me know if you have any questions and we look forward to seeing you at the tournament.

Good afternoon! My name is Kara and I am an Events & Marketing Specialist for Thrive Pet Healthcare. We are opening a new emergency & specialty pet hospital in Hoffman Estates, and we are super excited to host a grand opening event in September where we will be inviting pet owners and families within the community.

I am currently looking for a catering partner to sponsor this event by providing food & beverages to our attendees. This would be a great marketing opportunity for our sponsor to get their name and services out to the community. We can look into having branded swag items with your company logo to pass out to attendees as well as promote to invitees and attendees that your company sponsored the event.

Let me know if you have any questions and would be interested in this opportunity!

Good afternoon,

I hope that you are doing well. I help manage a corporate office building in Lombard. We are looking to have a food truck onsite as a lunch option in August for the tenants. The tenants would be paying for themselves. Is this something that could be done? Thank you!
