I’m reaching out to request your support for a very special event close to our hearts - Lenni’s Par-Tee for CHD, a charity golf outing taking place on Friday, September 26th at Bonnie Dundee Golf Club in Carpentersville, Illinois. This event is held in honor of my Niece, Lennon (“Lenni”), who was born with a congenital heart defect (CHD). In her short life, Lennon has endured more medical interventions than most adults ever will, including two open heart surgeries within her first year of life. Through it all, she has shown incredible strength, resilience, and joy. Her journey inspired us to turn our fear into purpose by creating an annual fundraiser that supports the Children’s Heart Foundation, the leading organization solely dedicated to funding CHD research. We’re proud to share that 100% of net proceeds from the event will go directly to this foundation, helping to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects for children like Lennon. We are kindly asking if you would consider donating your iconic sandwiches for the event. Your generous contribution would not only bring smiles to our participants (and Lennon) but would also help offset event costs — allowing more funds to support CHD research and families in need. I am delighted to formally invite you to PAWS Chicago’s 25th Annual 5K Walk/Run For Their Lives on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Montrose Harbor. We are celebrating the 25th anniversary of not only our most attended event of the year, but the largest dog-friendly event in Chicago, with over 3,000 pet lovers and 1,000 dogs! Its success is critical in enabling PAWS Chicago to provide the operational support necessary to save and care for thousands of homeless pets. One of the featured highlights is our Hero Hangout, which is our VIP food & beverage area for our top individual and team fundraisers, as well as special guests. We typically have 400 in this area. We would love to have you join us at the upcoming PAWS 5K as one of our food vendors in the Hangout, serving as a pillar of support for PAWS lifesaving programs. Participation is FREE and PAWS Chicago will provide: What we would be looking for you is the following: If you can NOT attend but still want to donate food, we would also appreciate that. However we would feature your food in our food buffet along with other donors (instead of having your own tent) but we will still have signage and all the relevant promotional communications for you. DU Fest will be on Sunday, August 28th from 3pm-6 pm on Dominican University’s main campus. Would you be able to provide me additional information on small plate options your food truck could provide if our campus would want to utilize a ticket system for students to receive a smaller plate option from your truck? Generally, we try to pay for around 200-450 tickets per truck (around $3-$4.25 per person). We see around 700-800 students and are looking to have 5-7 trucks and order around $1000 worth of product from them. DU Fest is free for students, and we will pass out food tickers for the product we purchase from you. There will be no sales made at trucks. Would you be able to provide some additional information for me to bring back to a committee to see if we would be interested in your food truck for DU Fest?
