| Individual People Pay Themselves | I'm part of the planning committee for the Taste of Roselle, an annual outdoor festival featuring a variety of food from around Roselle and the surrounding areas that takes place on Roselle's Main Street between Park and Prospect, the first weekend of August - this year Friday, August 1 - Sunday, August 3. Toasty Cheese has been a hit at this fest in the past and we'd love to have you back. Hosted by the Roselle Lions, the event is visited by thousands of people over three days and includes many locals.The event also offers free entertainment daily on three stages, an arts & crafts show and kids carnival. There is also a beer tent that serves a variety of beer and a craft beer tent hosted by Pollyanna Brewing in Roselle. Vendor applications are now open and space is filling up fast. I'm reaching out to you knowing that you have a new storefront coming to town and the Taste is a great way to get people hooked on your fantastic food. You'd be a great addition to the offerings. | Individual People Pay Themselves | Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ is now in its 17th year as one of Glen Ellyn's largest and most beloved events. The BBQ will welcome 50+ BBQ competitors along with an all-day food and music festival. As part of the festival, the BBQ would like to invite the Best Trunkin' BBQ or Toasty Cheese Mobile Eatery to be one of the five food vendors onsite for the day-long event. Each food vendor is invited as they fulfill a unique and in-demand food and flavor request. We would love to include you as part of this event. The food vendor keeps all sales proceeds in exchange for a flat donation of $500 to the nonprofit agency, Bridge Communities, which is the sole beneficiary of the Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ. The BBQ is projected to raise approximately $55,000 to support Bridge Communities' mission, which provides housing and life-changing services to families facing homelessness. | Individual People Pay Themselves | Good morning! Our Park District puts on a Concert in the Park Series every Summer on Wednesday nights in August. We generally have a DJ set up from 6-7pm, and a featured band every week from 7-9pm. We would love to Have Toasty Cheese be a food vendor for an evening with us during our Concert Series. In the past we have not charged attendees or been charged to have vendors on site. As this would be opportunity for a vendor to be onsite to sell their food to a large crowd of people. We are open to any Wednesday Night in August, if looking to schedule. We would just be looking for vendors with a COI and Food Service/Handlers and Sanitization Licensee.
