| Individual People Pay Themselves | Hello! My name is Caitlin Kramer, and I am the Chairperson for Fremont School’s Back to School Event on behalf of our PTO! We’re hosting a fun-filled Back-to-School Event for our school community, and we’re looking to have 4-5 food trucks to have at our event in addition to some different dessert options! Our event takes place on Friday, August 22, from 5:30–7:30 PM. It’s a great opportunity to connect with the community, get in front of many families, and be a part of a memorable evening for our school district! The event will be held outside at Fremont Intermediate School in Mundelein, IL. We would love to have you join us and be part of this wonderful annual tradition. I’m reaching out to request your support for a very special event close to our hearts - Lenni’s Par-Tee for CHD, a charity golf outing taking place on Friday, September 26th at Bonnie Dundee Golf Club in Carpentersville, Illinois. This event is held in honor of my Niece, Lennon (“Lenni”), who was born with a congenital heart defect (CHD). In her short life, Lennon has endured more medical interventions than most adults ever will, including two open heart surgeries within her first year of life. Through it all, she has shown incredible strength, resilience, and joy. Her journey inspired us to turn our fear into purpose by creating an annual fundraiser that supports the Children’s Heart Foundation, the leading organization solely dedicated to funding CHD research. We’re proud to share that 100% of net proceeds from the event will go directly to this foundation, helping to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects for children like Lennon. We are kindly asking if you would consider donating your iconic sandwiches for the event. Your generous contribution would not only bring smiles to our participants (and Lennon) but would also help offset event costs — allowing more funds to support CHD research and families in need.
